With much pride, Maestro received AMVER awards in October 2018 for ships in its fleet for having participated in this program used worldwide with the aim of rescuing and giving assistance to persons in distress at the sea.
The AMVER program has been in operation since 1958 – and since year 2000 more than 2,800 lives have been saved by ships participating in this program. Today over 22,000 ships from many nations are participating in the AMVER program.
The AMVER awards were accepted on behalf of Maestro by Managing Director Mr. Andrew Brown
